Shadow Dancer - A Review

3 Stars - Alright

So an emotionally driven, political spy thriller, that's not especially political or spyish...

Shadow Dancer tells the story of a woman forced to report of IRA activities to MI5 or go to prison and never see her son again.

Sadly the politics aren't very well explored and the espionage elements are glossed over. However the emotional family element is done quite well and was enough to keep my interest. Also some of the performances weren't bad.

This might have worked better as a TV series with a bit more time to develop the characters and to explain their actions.

Little Finger and Bill Weasly... go figure...
To sum up, this is okay, but probably not worth the trip to the cinema.
